Dr. Situmorang’s piano teaching is that of professionalism and kindness. In the more than 10 years I have worked with him teaching piano, I’ve seen his acute ability to diagnose a deficient skill, advise how to correct it, and demonstrate how to implement the change, all of which is done in a kind manner seeking the best results for his students. Dr. Situmorang’s extensive knowledge of multiple levels of piano repertoire enhances his ability to teach all ages and all levels of students. His decades of experience in piano performance in both the classical and sacred genres likewise heightens his teaching abilities to encourage the necessary skills needed to achieve a high level of piano playing.
